KARC Planning Consultants was tasked with the development of a Permitting Requirements Report for an anticipated municipal elevated water storage tank and infrastructure project for the Town of Stony Point, New York.
This report for three site options included a preliminary zoning and constraints analysis and research for all required permitting requirements from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), Town of Stony Point, NY government agencies , Orange & Rockland Utilities Company, Rockland County Highway Department, and Rockland County and New York State Department of Health (DOH).
KARC developed a comprehensive permit information matrix, summary of communications with permit agencies, and appendices defining action items, costs, permit applications and estimated time-frame for approvals. This report was incorporated into a final engineering analysis report for the evaluation of the alternative locations.
