Staller Center for the Arts Environmental Assessment

KARC Planning Consultants prepared a Full Environmental Assessment Form (FEAF) Part 1 and supporting appendices on behalf of the State University Construction Fund for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing system rehabilitation, and miscellaneous exterior renovations at the Staller Center for the Arts.

The Staller Center is a four-story, 249,900-gross-square-foot multi-purpose facility housing three departments, along with supporting offices, classrooms, and practice studios, located on the Stony Brook University campus. The proposed work subject to SEQRA review included the rehabilitation of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; replacement of windows and entrances; and associated architectural modifications required due to exterior enclosure, HVAC system, and infrastructure upgrades. Site work also included the installation of a replacement chiller and a new generator.
