Hudson Taco IDA Assistance

KARC Planning Consultants assisted with securing financial incentives through the City of Newburgh Industrial Development Agency (IDA) for the expansion of the existing Hudson Taco and Pizza Shop establishments in the City of Newburgh, New York. KARC prepared and coordinated the project’s IDA application, documenting the proposed investment, anticipated job creation, economic benefits, and consistency with the City’s economic development objectives.

As part of the approval process, KARC represented the Applicant before the City of Newburgh IDA Board and provided supporting information regarding the project’s financial impact, employment opportunities, and anticipated long-term contributions to the local economy. KARC worked closely with the Applicant and IDA throughout the review process to address questions and support the requested incentives.

The project received IDA financial assistance in the form of exemptions from sales and use taxes and mortgage recording taxes, helping to support the expansion and continued operation of the local businesses.
