KARC Planning Consultants secured financial assistance from the Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency (DCIDA) for the construction of phase II of the Bellefield project in the Town of Hyde Park, New York. The KARC team played a key role in preparing a comprehensive application that highlighted the project’s potential impact on job creation, economic growth, and local development. The team demonstrated how the project aligned with the region’s strategic goals and addressed local community needs.
To secure approval for the requested abatements, the KARC team represented the applicant at multiple key meetings, including DCIDA Board meetings, Town of Hyde Park Board of Education meetings, and Town of Hyde Park Board meetings. Their thorough presentation of financial projections, job creation estimates, and long-term economic benefits garnered support from both local government and community stakeholders.
With the assistance of the DCIDA, the project was granted exemption from sales and use tax, exemption from mortgage recording tax, and a Payment in Lieu of Taxes.
